Mindfulness is the process of keeping your attention and thoughts on the present moment and can help to improve mood, concentration, focus and well-being.  

An example of using colouring for mindfulness would be: "I'll colour all the squares in this picture blue." This emphasises that you're concentrating on only one task and encouraging the training of your mind to one focal point. Colouring is great for both children and adults, if you would like a calm moment. It helps to keep your brain active and helps to strengthen children's fine motor skills too.
